How to build yourself the perfect cloud career

Digital transformation relies on digital technology to build novel business processes, culture, and consumer experiences. According to a recent NASSCOM report, India will need 20 lakh cloud professionals by 2025. But with the current growth, there will only be 14-15 lakh cloud professionals, leading to a shortage of 5 lakh cloud professionals. These statistics clearly emphasize the fact that the demand for cloud computing professionals must be addressed sooner, and professionals must upskill to meet industry requirements.

Cloud skills that are in huge demand in 2022 are Cloud Security, Machine Learning and AI, Cloud Migration for Multiple Platforms, Multi-cloud, DevOps, Database Skills.     

Having cultivated the afore mentioned skills a wide array of career roles opens such as Cloud Architect, Cloud Engineer, Cloud Software Engineer, Cloud Consultant, Cloud Security Analyst, Cloud Network Engineer, and Cloud Administrator. 

Most importantly earning cloud certifications from major public cloud providers like Azure, AWS, and GCP is crucial for cloud aspirants. Cloud certifications demonstrate your abilities and skills to excel in a chosen area.  

Earning foundational certifications like Azure Fundamentals: AZ-900, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or Google Cloud Certification can be the first step to your exciting journey into the Cloud Certification arena. Further, you can move up in the certification path by taking associate and professional certifications.
