Secure Data Access and Seamless Integration
The customer faced challenges in analyzing aggregated data to assess system performance and visualize water and soil contamination for farmers. Their third-party application struggled with data analysis, decision-making, and storage. With IoT sensors deployed across locations, they needed a secure, scalable cloud database and advanced data visualization tools for better insights and decision-making.
• Amazon S3 is used for scalable, long-term storage of user files and sensor data, with backup for water and soil sensor data.
• Amazon Cognito secures user access with OAuth 2.0, while Amazon API Gateway facilitates data retrieval and secure submission of water and soil data through Kinesis.
• Kinesis Firehose manages ETL, archiving data in S3 and sending it to Amazon OpenSearch for analysis, with Lambda integrating manual CSV data for consistent processing.
• Amazon OpenSearch and Kibana provide near real-time visualization of sensor data, with Amazon Athena enabling SQL-based queries for in-depth analysis.
• AWS CloudTrail and Amazon CloudWatch monitor performance, with logs stored in Amazon S3, while proximity optimization minimizes latency in ap-south-1 (Mumbai).
A centralized, real-time data management solution with secure access, dynamic dashboards, and 42% optimization in monitoring, providing actionable insights for sustainability in agriculture.
