The Challenge

The client encountered significant challenges in their business operations due to manual management of Election-related data. This resulted in response delays and potential customer dissatisfaction. To address these issues, they aimed to enhance their workflow by integrating a Natural Language Text Election-based Chatbot into their infrastructure, enabling prompt and relevant responses to inquiries.

Solutions

  • Datasets related to election data will be pre-processed and cleaned using various techiniques such as data validation, transformation, and normalization before further processing.
  • Once pre-processed, the datasets will be inserted into an Amazon RDS MySQL database. This will involve creating appropriate tables and storing the data in a structured format for efficient querying.
  • User queries will be passed to an AWS Lambda function. This function will utilize Amazon Bedrock to convert the natural language query into an SQL query through a large language model (LLM).
  • The generated SQL query will be executed against the Amazon RDS MySQL database. The retrieved data will then be processed and formatted as needed.
  • The initial user question, the generated SQL query, and the retrieved data will be sent to Amazon Bedrock. Here, the LLM will summarize the response, ensuring the information is concise and relevant.
  • The raw query and the summarized response will be stored in Amazon S3 for future use as a cache.
  • The summarized response will be delivered back to the user via Amazon API Gateway.

Enhanced customer service with instant responses to election inquiries, boosting brand reputation, gaining valuable voter insights, handling multiple inquiries during peak periods, and achieving cost savings by reducing manual intervention.
