Configuration Consistency with Reduced Manual Efforts
The customer faces challenges in deploying a Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA) while integrating Kong API Gateway and Ping Identity for security and authentication. They must ensure the architecture handles sensitive financial data and meets compliance requirements like PSD2, while achieving high availability and scalability. Key obstacles include provisioning infrastructure with Terraform, automating deployment workflows, maintaining configuration across multi-cloud environments, and effectively integrating Kong for API management.
• Provisioned via Terraform, the ROSA cluster will be configured for high availability, auto-scaling, and security to handle varying workloads and ensure uptime.
• Kong will manage API traffic, ensuring security, rate limiting, and compliance for Open Banking APIs.
• Ping Identity will handle authentication and authorization using OAuth and OpenID Connect to ensure secure user access.
• Terraform scripts will automate infrastructure deployment and management, making the setup easily replicable across environments.
• The infrastructure will comply with Open Banking regulations, adhering to best practices for encryption, access control, and auditing.
Deploying Kong API Gateway, Ping Identity, and ROSA using Terraform and ArgoCD to achieve automated pipelines, 99.9% uptime, and configuration consistency across all environments.
