The customer had a problem with their current setup. The primary issue was that Power BI required each user to have an individual subscription to access the dashboards. This limitation restricted external users from accessing the dashboards with different email IDs and created inefficiencies in managing user subscriptions. Additionally, the need for subscription management and user access control was cumbersome and did not scale well.
• Established Amazon VPC peering for secure cross-account data access between Amazon RDS and Amazon QuickSight.
• Set up Amazon VPC connectivity between Amazon RDS and Amazon QuickSight.
• Developed interactive dashboards in Amazon QuickSight with daily refresh schedules.
• Automated user creation and deletion in Amazon QuickSight using AWS Lambda and Amazon S3.
• Automated row-level security for users’ access to Amazon QuickSight.
Implemented an AI/ML solution on AWS with over 90% accuracy in OCR, streamlining data extraction and structuring to boost user productivity.
