The client is a leading FinTech company, struggles with monitoring and analyzing their FinAlyzer product on EC2, managing and storing large data volumes, optimizing ETL with AWS Glue, querying data with Amazon Athena, and creating visualizations with Amazon QuickSight. They also face challenges with maintaining security, compliance, and access control, affecting the reliability and scalability of their deployments.
• Implemented Amazon Lambda functions to pull data from the centralized bucket and Backup Audit Manager service using APIs such as describe_images, describe_instances, get_caller_identity, list_backup_jobs, and list_report_jobs.
• Scheduled Lambda functions using Amazon EventBridge for periodic data extraction.
• Stored the extracted data in respective folders within the Amazon S3 bucket.
• Created AWS Glue crawlers to update data from the Amazon S3 bucket regularly.
• Built tables in Amazon Athena and used custom queries to join and process the extracted data.
• Pulled data into Amazon QuickSight from Athena tables and prepared datasets for visualization.
• Developed interactive dashboards in Amazon QuickSight with various charts and tables for effective data visualization.
