ONDC is a public initiative by the Government of India, promotes a decentralized e-commerce model. Launched on December 31, 2021, it is managed by a private non-profit, with initial investments from the Quality Council of India and Protean eGov Technologies.

The client faced challenges in unifying and efficiently retrieving information from diverse data sources such as shared drives, GitHub repositories, and cloud storage. The lack of streamlined access hindered collaboration and effective utilization of their platform.
• Chatbot hosted on Amazon S3 with global content distribution via CloudFront for low latency and high availability.
• User queries routed through Amazon API Gateway to AWS Lambda, with ongoing interactions stored in Amazon DynamoDB.
• Integrated Amazon Bedrock models (Claude and Cohere’s Embedding) for NLP and embedding generation, with data indexed in OpenSearch for efficient retrieval.
• Data from GitHub, Google Drive, and ONDC website crawled and stored in S3, indexed in OpenSearch for semantic search.
• Documents pre-processed and ingested into a knowledge base, with enhanced search via Amazon Kendra.
• Real-time monitoring with Amazon CloudWatch and auditing via AWS CloudTrail.
• Secure authentication with Amazon Cognito and role-based access via AWS IAM.
Developed an end-to-end Gen AI solution on AWS to enhance customer engagement, improve productivity by 25%, reduce document search time by 40%, and ensure 99.9% uptime with robust security and advanced search capabilities.
